It is almost February and that means Romance for Sightseeing/Quests! Some of the ones listed below may be repeated from past sightseeing guides, but are brought around again due to the “matters of the heart.”
21. MY DEAR SARA…
QUEST: Sara and Sully Ballo
ZONE: Thandol Span bridge (between Wetlands and Arathi)
Zone Level: 30s
FACTION: Alliance
This quest is based on the real life letter written by Sullivan Ballou at the Battle of Bull Run. The quest starts by swimming down to the wreckage of the bridge of Thandol span and locating the smashed dwarf under a large stone. Click on the “waterlogged envelope” in his hand to begin the quest.

22. YOUNG LOVERS
QUEST: Young Lovers
ZONE: Elwynn Forest
ZONE LEVEL: 10s
FACTION: Alliance
Maybell McClure is in love with Tommy Stonefield, but a feud exists between their families (and neighboring farms). She says, “Oh, I'm cursed! My heart belongs to Tommy Joe Stonefield, but our families are bitter enemies. So I can't see him, even though my eyes ache to gaze upon that handsome face! Please, take this letter and give it to Tommy Joe. He's usually at the river to the west of the Stonefield Farm, which is due west of here.” She asks you to deliver a letter to Tommy…

QUEST: Torta and Tooga
ZONE: Tanaris
ZONE LEVEL: 50
FACTION: Alliance (horde?)
In this cute little quest, you are to unite two giant turtles by leading Tooga back to his wife Torta.
He says, “My wife, Torta, sent me out to fetch dinner and I must have taken a wrong turn somewhere. Would you be so kind as to lead me back to Torta? She's waiting for me just south of Steamwheedle Port.”

24. The ORC’S WIFE
QUEST: Find Mankrik’s Wife
ZONE: Barrens
ZONE LEVEL: 20
FACTION: Horde
Truly one of the more tragic quests, but Mankrik, at the Crossroads has a quest for you. “We battled in a small tauren camp when we were separated--she held three of the Bristlebacks off by herself. But the odds began to overwhelm us. I led some away only to see her overwhelmed by newcomers. In my rage, I turned to face my enemies, but they brought me down easily with their vast numbers.I awoke to a tauren druid tending my wounds--he had come across me on the Gold Road as I fell. Please, find some sign of my wife.”

25. LOVE AND FAMILY
QUEST: of Love and Family, given by Tirion Fordring (Old Hillsbrad Foothills)
ZONE: Plaguelands, Island of Caer Darrow
ZONE LEVEL:55-60
FACTION: Alliance
Tirion tells you the story of a painting of his family and asks you to recover information about or the painting.
He says, “When Taelan was a child, we would oft visit Caer Darrow on family excursions. On our last visit, an artist by the name of Renfray painted a portrait of us poised along the beachside. It is my fondest memory of both Taelan and Karandra. For it was at that moment, with my wife and son in my arms, that I felt a bond of love and family that I would never know again.”

26. INFAMOUS LOVE POTION
QUEST: The Love Potion from Mistress Magnara, Blackrock Depths
ZONE: Blackrock dungeon
ZONE LEVEL: 54
FACTION: Alliance (I am unclear if this is available to also Horde)
Apparently, the succubus who wanders the tavern in Blackrock is in need of ingredients to create a love potion…
“Oh, the pains of love! My dear Private Rocknot is immune to my charms. I am spurned! It's maddening!You must help me! We succubi know much of love, and I can make a potion to beat down the iron walls around Rocknot's heart. To make it, I need these items: the herb gromsblood, giant silver veins from the cliff giants of Azshara, and water from the Golakka Springs Crater in Un'Goro. You can place the water in this vial. The Night Elves
Some of the saddest most poignant love stories exist among the Night Elves. Not because they are more beloved by Blizzard or anything, but because the lore tries to drive home the sheer tragedy this race has endured since losing the Well of Eternity. They were once immortal but now are relegated to facing with death, losing loved ones to death, and have no hope for any afterlife. Reference “The War of Ancients.”
27. ETERNAL LOVE
QUEST: For Love Eternal
ZONE: Darkshore (on the bridge into town from the boats, Whiteclaw)
ZONE LEVEL: obtained at 11 (level 16)
FACTION: Alliance
Whiteclaw relates the events of Amath’Aran which was destroyed during the battle over the Well of Eternity. His wife, Anaya, was among the people who had been in the city. He is afraid she has become a ghost haunting the ruins, not realizing what has happened to her. He doesn’t have the heart to put her ghost to rest, and asks you to do it.
After you bring back her pendant proving you have done as he asked, there is follow up where he ghost comes to visit him one last time, and they exchange words of their love for each other. Whiteclaw cries in agony when she finally fades away into oblivion.
Truly a heart-wrenching quest.

28. HEARTSWOOD
Several of the binding quests for Warlock center on love…
QUEST: Heartswood (obtained from Gakin the Darkbinder in the Mage Quarter, Stormwind)

ZONE LEVEL: 20
FACTION: Alliance (Warlock Succubus quest)
